Factum Electronics, world-leading supplier of equipment for digital multimedia broadcasting, has signed several contracts for deliveries to Hong Kong.
In Hong Kong the success of the service multiplexers, one of Factum’s showpieces, will continue with service multiplexer deliveries to a number of radio stations in the area. Moreover, the level of redundancy has been covered by large scale orders of the reknown Factum seamless redundancy switch, RSW100.
At the same time South Korea has been ordering regularly to one of Factum’s largest installations in the world, this time to increase the level of redundancy.
In Europe Factum has already delivered to the German DAB+ build out during 2012, and orders are now received also from France, Czech Republic and Norway. After the switch off statement by the authorities in Norway, Factum has noticed a growing interest not only from the public broadcaster, who recently upgraded the HW part of the multiplex machine park, but has also got orders from the private broadcasters.
As stated in an earlier press release Ireland has chosen Factum for its test services in DAB and DAB+, and also Turkmenistan is noted as a new customer to the company, being countries number 42 and 43 using Factum equipment.
