Factum receive orders from Kuwait and Australia
Linköping 2012-08-28
Factum Electronics, world-leading supplier of equipment for digital multimedia broadcasting, has signed contracts together with its system integrator in the region for deliveries later this autumn.
Kuwait has ordered two large systems covering 24 redundant DAB+ services hosted by two separate multiplexing and data broadcasting systems. The main contractor is Sultan Telecom Co. and end user is Ministry of Information Kuwait.
In Australia the Factum main installation is the prestigious contract for the continental roll out of CRA and CBAA. Both the companies have recently shown good response to the new family of platforms, which is based on an entirely new 1U PC in Factum’s 3rd generation of industrial computers. Moreover, Australia has now consequently gone over to use Factum’s latest SW version 6.0 after a large- scale upgrade throughout the continent.
