Application:

NC200A is a high performance NICAM encoder mainly designed for use in CATV networks but may as well be used for broadcast and in laboratories. In CATV networks NC200A is linked to the existing vision and FM sound modulator at the head end. The NICAM signal is added at IF.
NC200A is avalaible in system B/G and system I versions.

Basic Features:

Functionally: NC200A may be divided into three blocks:
AD conversion of two sound channels
Transcoding of digital sound signals to NICAM format
QPSK modulator

Options:

NICAM data/clock output for use of NC200A as an encoder only. NICAM data/clock input for use of NC200A as a modulator only.
Intercarrier output version, NC200A/IC. Refer to separate data sheet. Encoder only version, NC200A/E. Refer to separate data sheet.
